Children’s Book Week is an annual celebration of reading for pleasure. Taking place from 3-9 Oct, there will be thousands of events across the country. Bookshops, fairs and festivals, including The Children’s Bookshow will host author and illustrator talks and book swaps throughout the week. On 3 Oct, Judith Kerr will be discussing how her own life experiences have shaped her books at the Royal Festival Hall, London, whilst Michael Rosen will be thrilling audiences at the People’s Theatre in Newcastle with his witty poetry on 20th Oct.
