Chocolate chestnut truffles

Try this decadent chocolate truffle recipe - makes for fantastic Christmas gifts, all wrapped up in cellophane and tied with a piece of recycled ribbon. Who could resist?

CHOCOLATE CHESTNUT TRUFFLES
Ingredients:
300g organic chocolate; 150g puréed chestnuts 1 tsp vanilla extract; 125ml cream; cocoa powder to dust

1 Put the broken chocolate in a bowl above a pan of boiling water to melt.

2. Spoon the chestnut puree into a bowl and add the melted chocolate and other ingredients. Leave to cool in the fridge.

3. Roll into balls and dust with cocoa powder. Enjoy!

    Is it dark chocolate or milk that should be used? smile

    I love dark chocolate so always use dark but I reckon the results would be yummy (and creamier) with milk chocolate. Enjoy experimenting!
