Cowboy camping

Looking for holiday inspiration for 2011? We love the look of the tipi village at Pinewood Holiday Park in Yorkshire and this year they have added cowboy camping shacks for a year round camping experience.

New this year at Pinewood Holiday Park are the Cowboy Camping Shacks. These basic cabins are ideal for all year round camping. They have the same furnishings as the tipis, available to hire on site and are kitted out with a double and 2 single cube chair beds, a small barrel table, a small storage box and an electric heater. The shacks are double glazed and insulated, so are very cosy. They also have a large covered veranda, with a rocking chair and table and stools; which is perfect for enjoying a glass of wine while watching the sun set.

Staying at Pinewood is a fun, unique and environmentally friendly way to spend time away from the hustle and bustle and stresses of every day life. Owner Kerry Woodhead enthuses, “Wake up to the birds singing, drift off to the sound of the owls, and just simply enjoy the mixture of old fashioned camping in a truly beautiful place, while being at home with nature. You’ll go home feeling re-charged and re-freshed.” To book for 2011, see here.
