Relaxed Parenting

A training programme in Bristol in June enables women to acquire the skills and understanding to help others relax and get the most from pregnancy, birth and parenting.

Relaxed Birth & Parenting will be running their next training in Bristol on June 18th and 19th and continuing for six further weekends. Founders Dominique Sakoilsky and Louise Bennet have been talking and listening to pregnant women and new parents for over two decades.

We asked them what makes this training different?
“It offers more emotional depth: we’re passionately interested in the emotional journey of pregnancy and birth, and we’ll help you learn to understand its impact on mother, father and family.”

Any other aspects that you think our readers will be interested in?
“We provide greater ‘baby awareness’. Based upon the latest thinking in perinatal psychology, our training focuses strongly on the needs and wellbeing of the baby, the one person
involved in childbirth whose interests are sometimes overlooked!”

What will participants gain from the course?
“After the course you can either work as a Birth Educator, running weekly courses and day workshops, a Doula, or both. Plus, the course is FEDANT accredited.”
