simple cheap healthy vegan recipes needed for detox please

Hi Mamas,

I’ve just come back from a Tony Robbins UPW seminar and I’m having a huge detox. Thing is I know not much at all about being wheat/gluten/dairy/refined sugar free (used to be a vegetarian) and really need some simple meal ideas. Apart from fruit, veg, grains/nuts and lentils I’m a bit stuck. I’ve been having fruit or soya yoghurt for breakfast but I can see that it could get a bit boring and really want to see how long I can stick at it.

Can anyone suggest some cheap and simple breakfasts, lunches and dinners please? I don’t wanna turn into a lentil

how do you make pickled eggs?

I have visions of having to boil vinegar and sterilise jars but am wondering if the reality is more simple.
How long do they keep once you’ve pickled them?
And do you need to seal the jars if you want to keep them for any length of time?

Please give me the idiots guide from your own experiences

DS, age 4, has low iron levels so I’ve just bought a jar of blackstrap molasses as it is supposed to be high in iron. There’s no way he’ll take it off the spoon, so I’m looking for some child friendly recipes for it please!

I’m trying to come up with some summer meals for my kids. I’d happily eat green salads most days but neither of them likes that! So I need some creative alternatives that don’t involve me slaving over a hot stove when I could be playing the wendy house!

What do you eat in the summer? How do you fill the hungry bellies of your growing little ones? And growing little ones who can be very fussy!

Chickpea recipes please?

Hi. I have 3 kids (8,6 and 2) and a fairly fussy husband when it comes to food. In the shop the other day I was feeling brave and adventurous and bought a couple of tins of chickpeas. However, I am not sure what to do with them! I have searched online and found lots of curry recipes, but was wondering if anyone had any other ideas of how to cook/hide them in something yummy! We are 90% veggie (kids and DH have meat once a week) and I want to make sure we get enough of everything, especially as DD1 is suffering with constipation at the moment.

Many thanks
xx

I have two questions:

1 - what are your favourite fillings for quiche?

2- what is the secret to an amazing texture for the filling rather than something a bit hard, chewy and eggy (which is what I usually create)

There’s three of them about to crawl out of the fruit bowl. DD would like a sugar free banana cake. Do you have a fave recipe that perhaps uses honey or molasses?

Fave sugar free baking recipes?

Dd is on a sugar free diet and finding it hard. I made some chocolate muffins the other day; she ate one then said they were hard and not sweet enough ( I used coconut sugar)

I used to use a lot of fructose but now realise the error of my ways, so I’m looking for more recipes that use different sweeteners - perhaps agave? (I personally think its ok; am aware there is a lot of controversy surrounding it). She likes honey but not necessarily in things and I’m feeling quite stuck with the whole thing which is most unlike me!

I think I’ve ‘lost’ her palate to the commercial taste :(
