If it happens does anyone mind if I bring my husband?
sarie
I think bringing other halfs is a great idea. I'll probably struggle to go to Ryton without him to be honest (unless we do it on a weekday) as we keep saying we'll go but haven't managed it as yet.
Oooh - we need to set a date soon please, I'm getting excited already ;D
I think other halfs would definately be a good idea.
A week day is good for me but we are flexible and can do weekends, do you want to do it soon especially as it is getting cooler?
We have half term coming up, and there may be some extra activites going on there which may be interesting for the children. Just looked and there is a pumpkin day on Sunday 26th October, but it might get a bit busy.
I don't mind about partners, it depends on workload whether DH would be able to make it. So people may have to put up with me trying to keep 4 children under control (if it is in half term!), but I don't mind, I'm sure the boys would have a whale of a time there.
Don't know what everyone else thinks, would it be a bit manic during half term?
No that I know when half term is!
I would prefer a weekday but as I said am flexible, preferablly not to early in the morning!!
Think I might have to miss out on this one anyway then unless it's at the weekend as I wouldn't be able to get back to Brum to collect my eldest from school.
Ok, so that's half-term out, I reckon I must admit, looking at my diary, weekends are going to prove difficult with all the boys activities that seem to be going on ::)
Where abouts in Birmingham are you Tipi? I could possibly pick you up on the way if that is easier. I would also need to get back in time for the school run.
A pumpkin day does sound good, to be honest we are flexible its just that I am my husbands carer and early mornings get him off to a bad start, but if he doesn't like it I can get someone to help him out.
Might be a bit difficult getting back to schools in Birmingham as it gets a bit manic, so whatever is easier for people that have time restraints.
Finding it difficult to remember who has how many children and what ages they are!
I have a seven month old so she can be picked up and go whenever it's my husband that's awkward

What about somewhere closer to people who have time restraints?
Can't think of anything off hand, park, someones house, somewhere simple,
what do you think?
Warehouse cafe in Birmingham? http://www.thewarehousecafe.com/ (I've never actually been but a friend of mine has been a few times and say's it's lovely).
That sounds lovely, and my mouth is watering now after seeing the menu! Also close to the train stations if anyone needed the train. Definitely better for a week day without the boys for me, meal times are more like a chimpanzee's tea party with them about!! ::) :D
Another thought was the nature centre opposite where Pebble Mill was. Very cheap to get in, and something for children to do (if there are any that are of "doing" age that would be coming)
