My son's almost 2 so no need for 'doing' acitvities.  The Warehouse looks lovely and would mean an excuse for a train ride - yippee

The nature centre sounds lovely too, I don't know Birmingham very well (at all!) but will come on the train so will endeavour to join you wherever we go.

When shall we do this?  It's half term next week, so if we did it then I would personally prefer the nature centre, but any other time I would prefer the Warehouse cafe!

I can do thursday next week - nature centre would be nice for us, DD is nearly 3 so animal mad.  Sarah - I will come by train too and will then bus it to the nature centre (about 7/8 mins bus ride from town)- so can always meet you at the train station or bus stop save you getting lost grin

Alternatively can do thurs/fri following week at the warehouse cafe.

Next Thursday would be good, as we have our power cut off for the day!!  How is that for everyone else?

I could only do Friday next week. The week after is looking very busy too.

Where is the nature centre, anyone know a website address?
Sounds good though for next week, I think our little one would like stuff to do and she is only 7months old, there is no stopping her.  Best if there is something to entertain, would imagine other kids might get bored in a cafe.  What do you think?

It has just occured to me that next week is Samhain and my sisters wedding so I can't do Thursday or Friday but 6th or 7th November around 11.00 is good, gives a chance for us to get to Birmingham.

Difficult to co-ordinate more than a couple of people!

What do people think?

So how are people for the 6th or 7th November?  Tipi seems to be the busy one!  I'll go along with anything that's decided.  Are people leaning more towards the nature centre?  If anyone has trouble getting there, I can pick up from New Street station, as I have a 7-seater, and extra car seats, just let me know.

I live in a village called Ridge Lane next to Birchley Heath, not too far from Ansley in one direction and Atherstone (about two miles) the other.
