I havent read every reply so I appologise if Im repeating..
We have used Nature babycare disposables now and then…they are the only readily avaible brand I know of that are actually what they say they are (I mean with out having to order ie tushies etc…) Sainsburys little eco nappies areny actually that eco…they’re a bit better on the enviroment than the usual pampers or whatever as they’re made from some recycled materials…but they still have a plastic lining (to my knowledge??) andf the packaging is plastic too. Nature babycare are made mainly from corn so I found this much more reassuring to be putting again L’s skin when I needed a break from washing piles and piles! (sorry to ramble on about the ins and outs, I have written to sainsburys actually with regards to their little eco nappies and to ask about their branding, is it misleadling to have a product called little eco when in fact they are only marginally more eco than the standard nappy?)
But blimey, like others have said, you are doing your bit as much as you can and its wrong to be so hard on yourself for needing a much needed respite from the washing monster. So I wouldnt worry about it too much, but would suggest you consider that if your LO is going to be in disposables more regularly for now, that you choose a brand thats kind to his little skin. (only saying from the experience of having to deal with awful eczema and dermatitis!)
Bright blessings xx
