Which bank do you use for accounts and mortgages?

is it ok to say who? ours is the one account, used to be virgin one account, backed by RBS, not virgin any more, can’t remember why.

it sounds so gushy, but it really has been a life-saver, i perhaps haven’t explained it particularly well but their website is very easy to follow. we gave up our hated jobs with nothing to go to, just because we knew we were already ahead and could live off that for months if need be - luckily we didn’t have to, phew!

i’m sure there are others but the online/phone service we’ve experienced has been so good we wouldn’t change. although i have a hunch that lots of lenders would prefer you don’t hear about current account mortgages simply cos they don’t make as much money out of them if you make it work for you.

it sounds scary putting it all into one pot but it makes so much sense when you think your mortgage is probably your biggest ever debt.
