I have been looking at getting some kind of magazine subscription for Boo (aged 4) but also for my niece (4 in September).  I have been looking at the National Geographic Little Kids magazine.  Does anyone get that?  I want something that will interest them but would prefer to steer clear of the CBeebies type magazine )Esp as we don’t live in UK).  Can anyone recommend any others suitable for 3+ to 5 ish?

Thanks
Lou xx

Thanks for the ideas.  We get story box at school so I read those with her anyway.  I do like those and they are very popular in my classroom.  I think the RSPB Wildlife explorers might be better next year as it says it is for the under 8s.  It does look rather nice and I think my niece would particularly enjoy it.  I am looking into the differences between Nat Geo Kids and Nat Geo Little Kids.  I think the Kids part is English but the Little Kids seems to come from America.
There are some lovely magazines out there but I don’t want to make the wrong decision.  Does anyone know if they can be bought in a big newsagents or are the subscription only?  I could perhaps have a look when we are back in UK at Easter.

Thanks again
Lou
