Well…  Lol Morgan is nearly two now so…

She wore nappies without covers at night most of the time, but she used to wake just before she did anything so often I'd get her to the toilet.  Sometimes she slept on a pad with nothing on her bottom (I knew by that stage that she always saved her poops for first thing in the morning).  When she got bigger she went into nappies full time at night because one night I tripped and knocked a heavy jar off the top of the bathroom cabinet and it bruised her foot - after that she would wake up fully and cry any time I tried to get up with her so I would let her go in the nappy and then change her.

She only ever woke at night when needing to toilet, never "just" for feeding, and it didn't disturb me as much as I expected.  smile  I know other ECers have a potty by the bed and just hold baby carefully over the side lol, but I always felt my directional sense was better if I actually got UP to take her.

I never got pooped on - except once when she was in a nappy and leaked.  It was easier to get her signals for that.  I guess I'll let you know in a few months if the next baby takes to it, but Morgan was easy to EC until she got mobile, and then we got peed on a few times and decided our energy was better spent dealing with a nursing strike.

I practice EC with my little boy too (now 20 months), but have always put nappies on him at night.
I know he used to pee at around 1 and then at the end of the nigth,
but i didn't fancy waking up in a wet bed or moving him while he was still sleeping.

Now, I've noticed he pees only at the end of the night and sometimes, his nappy is even dry in the morning, but then, we'got
to be really quick to go to the bathroom!
