Join us for an informal drop-in upstairs at The Art House on Thursday 16th June between 12 and 3pm.

There will be some sunflowery crafty activity going on, to keep you busy!

This drop-in is a regular monthly event - if you have any ideas for themes or would like to host a future session, please let us know. The format is meet and chat, with perhaps some leaflets on hand if people want information on any topics, or perhaps an activity of some kind.

It will be created by the people who come, so if you support this idea please do try to make it - and spread the word to other parents you know

Food & refreshments:

Lovely organic lunches, fair trade coffee & tea, a wide selection of herbal teas, organic juices and soft drinks, organic wines, ciders & beers are available in the cafe with home-baked goodies and light snacks, all reasonably priced and very yummy.

Please do not bring your own food or drink to The Art House.

Wow, it looks completely lovely there! My girls are too old for your group (I think I’ve seen it advertised on the FareGos group page) but thank you for bringing the Art Cafe to my attention. We live in Hampshire so will register with their mailing list (no FB) and see what’s on offer! xx

It really is a great place

How old are your girls? There’s no target age for the group, and as it’s still a very fledgling idea, the direction it will go in depends on the people who come

I’m running it this month, and doing sunflower collage pictures for the younger ones (and older ones if they want) and felt badges with sewing for the older ones.

Mine are 11, 13 and 15, maybe we could just pop along to check it out

It’s a really cool place to visit anyway - they have doodle books scattered around to draw in too, and a piano.

I’m bringing felt, beads, buttons etc. for sewing badges/brooches, so if they’re into that kind of thing then there will be something for them to join in with Have NO IDEA how many people will come or what age they will be, as it’s a new thing. If it’s something you would potentially be interested in being a part of in the future, though, then it’s worth getting involved and giving feedback

(I’m not in charge of it, by the way… no one is, the idea is for different people to offer different ideas for themes and activities each month)
