DS loves Diary of a Wimpy Kid too, the illustrated pages keep him happy too.  He seems to prefer the old fashioned stories what I read as a child.  He is reading The Fib and other stories by George Layton, I loved it as little girl.  He is also reading the Turbulent term of Tyke Tyler, remember that?  He loves Harry Potter and the Adrian Mole books.  DD loves all the Julia Donaldson books and anything a bit spooky.

I do actually! Trouble is, the only thing about it I remember is the twist at the end, which kinda kills the thrill of a reread rolleyes

Let me know what he thinks of the end of the book, I remember being really surprised, even now, some 25-30 years on!

Adventures of a Little Roo

Waterbirthed/cloth-bottomed/semi-BLW/co-sleeping/breastfeeding/wrap-loving tired and cranky Mama to my babies’ guardian angel Jaia (25/6/03 RIP), my gorgeous preemie Jakeybear (4/05) and munchable Little Roo (8/10)

They love you, relax into that
