Hi all,

I joined back in 2008 but haven’t been on much since. I’m mum to 3 boys aged 9,6 & 3 the 3rd being utterly bonkers and he regualry pushes me to my limits, then a bit further. We live in between Guildford and Godalming, we home ed the older 2 which can be challenging due to the 3rd ones demand for all of the attention. Despite my aspirations to be a SAHM I have to work part time singing in nurseries as well as some marketing and drama teaching. Erm…as well as that I am an actor, gave up with the birth of my first then suddenly found myself working again last year up at the Edinburgh Fringe. Utter crackers with 3 kids in tow but great fun too. Oh and I write….when I can. I had 2 out of the 3 at home, the first one was a planned hwb but got hyjacked by the Royal Surrey (loooong story but i left hosp with a letter of apology and a please don’t sue!) To ensure the same debacle didn’t happen again I hired an IM for my second two. I was lucky enough to have 2 of the most amazing humans to help me birth my boys, and without them I think i’d have less children now and be on permanent anti depressants!  I cloth nappied and wrapped the boys (had a bit of an addiction to both) but we’ve just decided that 3 is enough so I’m working though that. I don’t DO preganant very well, hyper emerisis until 14 weeks whioch has got progressively worse with each baby. So although I know its not for us, its still a hard decision to make. I’ve just been sorting thorugh all the baby clothes & nappies in preparation to sell *deep breaths* but I thought I’d rejoin and get to chat with some like minded parentals!

Often wondered what you were up to now.  Is it really 3 years since your little one was born?  I suppose so, as my DD is approaching 3 too.  Where does the time go?

3 years!! I know, mental isn’t it. He is a true force to be reckoned with! I’m aiming to be more involved now, now we’ve passed the wailing one’s, the terrible twos and are on to the thrilling 3’s! Glad to see a friendly face! x

I like your description of the ages.  How do you cope with a whirlwind?  Would love to know any coping tips.  My daughter is really hard work.  Maybe we could PM when you have a moment.
