Oh Sarie, so sorry to hear this.  Take care of yourself, I’ll be keeping you and your family in my thoughts.  Would it be any help if I picked Alice up en route, to allow you some time with your mum?

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone- we had a great day as well as discovering more of calke than we had found before. We will be returning to the dragon tree!

Chocolate brownies were fab too snowleopard- if you had a moment could you post the recipe?

Thank you all for a lovely time, sorry we couldn’t stay longer.  Will have to check it all out again, especially after finding a quicker way there (on the way back!). Had some rather tired children on the way home, needless to say they are all still wide awake now!!

Yes, recipe needed please snow leopard!

Yes, it was lovely to meet everyone. Dh was home early (6.30) so I was in bed by 6.45 and before the boys, really really tired. The boys had a fantastic time too. One thing I noticed was how lovely they all played which is quite different from the hour we spent on the park this morning where everyone was being told off every two minutes :S

Ooh, I just noticed this thread but we were away bank holiday weekend so wouldn’t have been able to make it anyway. We love Calke and I am always keen to discover new bits - I have never explored round that part Sarah I don’t think….

I would be keen for another trip and would be great to see you all.

Sarie, so sorry about your Grandad ((hugs))
