Oh, I'd be so grateful for a bit of help. I don't even know if I'm holding the needles properly, the books on learning to knit often don't realise how basic they need to start!! I'll dig out my needles for next time we meet!

Polly and Gina, i've been looking through your blogs and i feel like i have so much in common with you. I feel like someone has held up a mirror and shown me what our life could be like in the future if i learn to trust my instincts further and stop worrying what other people will say. Obviously i've already strayed from 'the norm' with attachment parenting, full term breastfeeding etc but i think if we choose to unschool we'll meet a lot of resistance. Reading blogs like yours really inspires me to follow my dreams. So thank you. :D
Sharon, I took a peek at your blog too. Although i'm not christian it is refreshing to find people who think so deeply about their lives and who have the courage and willpower to write so much and really reflect on things. My blog is mainly photos so i'm in awe of people who really write stuff!
Thank you ,that's really kind Your blog is lovely, I did try to leave a comment but it wouldn't let me for some reason ::) !
just before seeing this thread I was about to send you a measage Gina to say I had enjoyed looking at your blog Your veg garden looks great and I esp like the pic of your kids reading!
mama4 - I love that soaker! Reminded me that all of mine need re-lanolising…..
which sock wool do you prefer? I really like the thicker 6ply wool from regia but it is harder to find - but knits up so much quicker than the 2ply (or is it 4?). I am have two socks on different needles right now both different wools. Feels like I never have hands free enough to get them finished right now! Wish I had knit the one pair instead - least I'd have something to show for my efforts instead if two odd useless socks :lol
All your beautiful blogs ahve inspired so much that I ahve moved mine to blogger as well - it's so much easier to design a nice-looking blog with it than with the old software I was trying to use! For anyone that was reading mine, the old one will still be there but from now on, new posts will be at http://honourandinspiration.blogspot.com.
Thank you all for sharing your blogs - they're fab, very inspirational! Wish I wasn't sucha technophobe as it's a wonderful way of logging little ones growth. Gives me confidence that the seemingly small everyday things (ie playing with ice & going to the allottment) are what we are all doing with our LO's & that my friends is life!!
I love all your blogs, and they have inspired me to take more photos, and try and make the ordinary look much more fantastic, and therefore make me appreciate what we have. You are all so artistic!
DH keeps asking me if I want a blog, but I can't imagine I'd have anything people would be interested to look at!
