Hey, guys. I am still really keen to meet you all in person so hows about a yule/winter meet up?
As our summer meet at the open farm sunday got rained off, I think an indoor meet/coffee and festive food meet would be lovely. Depending on how many people want to come (our house is tiny!)  I would love to offer my place as a venue. Thinking end of Nov so it isnt too close to the many things that go on in the festive season?

Anyone up for a winter chinwag?? xx

I’m very interested but depends where you are - long journeys just don’t work well for us as ds gets very carsick and dd2 just screams :(  I’d be equally happy to offer my house too if it helps with a central location - we’re between Exeter and Totnes though so probably too far East!

Classroomfree, I think I’ve just sent you another waffly, disorganised email….must sort my life out….

Would love to do this! Am also east - between Exeter and Honiton - so sounds good to me. smile

What about mid-November? If it was good weather, could we do something like a walk in the woods somewhere or something? Maybe with hot chocolate in flasks? There are some lovely woods up on Haldon Hill, just west of Exeter… and there’s also a promising-sounding Centre for Contemporary Art and the Natural World there too. Thoughts, anyone?

Depending on numbers (our house is pretty small too, but we have quite a large kitchen with a table which easily seats six or eight adults), I’d be happy to volunteer our place as a meet-up…?

What about a Friday afternoon, then, at Haldon Hill? How about 18/11?

The 18th is fine for me - we could do any time of day, although we’d have to leave by 3.15 to pick dd1 up from school. We could meet up in the little playpark behind the cafe, just near the car park? And if it’s awful weather, you’re welcome to come to mine instead (5 mins away)!
