Yay! How about 1.30? DD1 is at playschool in the a.m… Hoping that would leave time enough for those with older children to collect from school?

I know I live a long way away, but if we meet that late I will only have about an hour before I have to leave to get my DS, so I would travel for longer than I would be there…..any chance of a bit earlier? sorry to be a pain.  red face  unless someone can suggest something local I could do before we meet so I can make a day of it? xx

Earlier is good for me too - we could meet up at 11 or something, then people who can only come for the afternoon could come along when they can and we’d mostly need to leave at 2.30-3ish… would that work? The cafe is lovely but we usually take picnic food as it’s much cheaper smile

I’ll try and get a day off and work out how to get there (I’m such at wuss at finding new places!), and bring the boys along, they would love it! x

11 it is then - I will just give DD1 the day off from preschool that day! smile By the cafe as a meeting point then?

That sounds doable to me, but if I came along there would be older children there as we home-educate. Has anyone got any objection to that? (My lot will be 1, 6, 9, 13, and 15)

I was wondering how people felt about the fact my DS will be at school and I might be on my own…..if there are older kids I might try and get him the day off to come too, he is 12 so would be exactly the right age for your lot!  grin  Schools can be mighty funny about time off though….xx
