My lovely Mum and I were discussing very casually what colour immediately comes to mind when you think of Christmas.
Mum said red - I said green. Then I started thinking about it a bit more…

If I think of Yuletide rather than Christmas, that is definitely green in my mind! and Mum said the same - Christmas for her is red, but Yuletide is green and white!

What colour is the season for you? And is it Christmas or Yule? 

Yule for me, but we celebrate Christmas and Hannukah this year too! Should be fun!

As for colours, typically green, red and gold… x

For me it’s Yule and it’s green with a splash of red or white - like holly or mistletoe

We celebrate Christmas.  For me, the colours of the season are red, green, white and midnight blue.  xxx

Christmas for us and the colours are green white and gold. Red never features anywhere in my house so it’ isn’t a colour that comes to mind very easily.

Green and white mostly for me - colours seen in nature this season.
A really vague answer would also include the moonlight of the season as I think it is very different to the rest of the year - I can see the midnight blue mentioned earlier perhaps fitting with me here, difficult for me to explain in words

For us its:

Green - foliage
Red - berries (Holly King)
Gold - to bring back the sun

I always loved the dark blue wrapping paper with white stars or snowflakes, the dark skies twinkling with stars, and the image of Mary in her blue dress and white shawl.  xxx

We celebrate Yule and Christmas day (family day rather than religious) so Yule makes me think of silver and green and Christmas makes me think of red and gold

For me red and green, red for the berries and the fire and the colour of warmth. Green for the leaves and the trees. But I like the midnight blue with silver too. Just not all together!
