Hi,
I’ve been reading Green Parent for 2 years and been lurking on here for almost as long.  I have had a couple of negative experiences on forums but you all seem so nice I decided to bite the bullet (so to speak) and join up.

A bit about me, I’m married (7 years) and have 2 beautiful little girls 3 and 1.  We have 1 dog currently and are getting a new puppy to be trained up as an assistance and service dog to help me with my disabilities in Feb.  We are trying to move towards a more sustainable lifestyle.  We are homeschooling ( much to some of the families disgust) and are doing a unschooling/Waldorf mix.  I’m not very good at these thing, sorry!

Hello and a very warm welcome to the forum from me
I’m a happily married mama with 5 blessings aged 16, 14 (well, he will be on Christmas Eve), 10 (well she will be on Boxing Day!), 6, and 1.  We live near Torquay in Devon and have been home-educating the children for 8 years.
This is definitely one of the nicest forums around, so please don’t be scared about posting - you will be made to fee very welcome.

Hello!  I don’t do any other forums as get so uptight over peoples narrow mindedness.  I disagree with so many people on here over beliefs, but love being able to hear what people believe without being told I should believe it too!  Hope you have the same experience. 

We have a very loud 3 year old daughter and a 19 month old son who follows her around, trying to copy!

Welcome to the forum!! Believe me, this certainly not your average type of forum. I have used others in the past - and I still pop on and off others occasionally now but this one is “home”. As Ophelia said this is not your typical forum. Everyone is SO lovely and supportive and helpful and just so full of love. I have never known a bunch of people like it (on or off line!)  Everyone just wants to help others here which is so lovely! Gush gush! x x x
