Our toilets are gross…I have to admit it.
When we moved in they were stained but I refused to use bleach and just scrubbed away.
Well now its annoying me, it looks blimin rank and so inclean. Ive just bunged half a bottle of white vinager down them…what else can I do short of resorting to chemical bleach?

The vinegar will work just leave for a few hours and then scrub and flush, then do it again.  If limescale is built up it will take a while for it to break down, be patient and persistant wink

Coke is supposed to be really good at clearing limescale - the liquid version, I’m not sure what the powder would do!

I’d second sarie. We had awful loo’s in one of the houses we moved into, but after tipping vinegar down before we went to bed then scrubbing in the morning for a couple of nights they were all sparkly and new looking. It just takes a few goes sometimes, and I’d def recommend leaving over night if you can x

Try bailing out as much water as you can before pouring in the vinegar, use a little jam jar, vinegar is then more concentrated and works better. Any old cheapo malt vinegar works- I use Sainsbury’s basics for about 19p a bottle.
