My husband really loves his luxury (chemical) bubble baths, and in a rare moment of weakness has suggested trying some greener options. Can anyone give me some suggestions of lovely luxury ones? They don’t have to be masculine - his last one was Agent Provocateur! It does need to be cheaper than that though (!) and also it needs to properly bubble - that’s his main gripe with the ones we use for the kids.

If you were going to have a real luxury green bubble bath, what would you use?

We have the Faith in Nature one and it makes great bubbles.  I really like it.  The Hemp and Meadowflower one is really strong smelling, but I really like it.  Depending on how green you want to be Sanex have bought out their Zero range which has fewer nasties in it.  That is readily available.

I can do a sample bottle of the Faith in Nature one and try to remember to bring it next time we come visit you.  I managed to get you a steamer in Ikea.  It is living in the car so that I won’t forget it.

The Faith In Nature chocolate one is really yummy - and moisturising too. DH likes that one as he has dry skin.

We use Faith in Nature bath foam/shower gel in lavender or seaweed. It makes absolutely millions of bubbles, a bathful from the teeniest squirt. It costs around £5 per bottle and last forever. It’s so good that I actually have to stop the littlies from squirting it in as their heavyhandedness would result in a bathroom full even when they’re being careful!

Another vote for faith in nature, especially the chocolate one! Also neals yard are nice and do bubble, but the bubbles go quite quickly (like many non green brands bubbles do). The weleda baby shampoo and body wash (calandula one) actually bubbles quite well, so I nick this off the pixies when I run out of mine!

Great thread! I used to buy the Neals Yard baby bubble bath in 1 litre bottles but at £35, I had to stop a couple of months ago. I was wondering what to use…the Faith in Nature bubble bath sounds great! I have only used Faith in Nature shampoo and conditioner before which we didn’t get on very well with to be honest, even if i squirted a tiny amount onto my DD’s hair, it would take forever to rinse out! I never felt it rinsed completely clean, even using the shower head while they were in the bath to rinse their hair.
