I’m looking for some washable wipes and nappy bags (ours are rather leaky now…) Has anyone got recommendations for good bags which stay waterproof and reasonably priced wipes? I’ve only used plain cotton wipes in the past, but I’ve noticed that you can get ones with a fleece side too - are they any good? Thanks very much smile

I just cut up some fleece for wipes, and try Monkey foot wetbags. The large double is especially good!

I bought a fleece dog blanket from a pound shop and cut it up for wipes when DS was a baby - they are now on their third use for DD2 wink

I cut down and hemmed old baby muslins- I found they had a good amount of ‘grip’ or roughness to get poo off but were gentle enough and dried easily. Must just be me but I found fleece too ‘smooth’ to for a wipe, but I did use fleece for liners.

I got some from wee notions with dd1 and they are still going strong now on dd3, and we’ve used them even when we have had them in eco disposables. They are bamboo terry on one side and fleece on the other. I found I needed the terry to get the poo off, as moggy says, but the fleece is good to dry their bum after to help stop it getting sore.

I havethee ‘Stinki Minki’ one http://www.babykind.co.uk/nappyessentials.htm#kit which is on to it’s 3rd child and still going strong!

I use IKEA flannels for most of our wipes, but the wipes that some with the bag are bloody fantastic.

I have never likes the wipes with flees e on the I have for nappy nation wipes that are now on baby number 4 they are just cotton flan ell that has been hemmed. I also have a pile of ikea flannels that work really well and were cheap.
as for nappy bag, I tend to use a carrier bag ! I do have a tots bots bag but going out most days I find I would need 3 or so bags so carriers do nicely for me !

I like the Nature Babies ones - fleece on one side, terry on the other, and just the right size for my hands!
