I just wanted to send out a brief post because Ive had a few messages which Ive not replied too…Sorry lovelies and thank you for thinking of me.

All is well here….I am 13 weeks now and have had one fairly reassuring scan already. Im under consultant care this time around so I am due a few more scans over the next few weeks.

Ive not been online much, days seem to be passing me by so quickly and not much is being achieved! My sickness is easing up….a bit. Ive got awful sciatica and a trapped nerve in my back which make walking and sitting quite uncomfortable!!!

But all in all, I feel really good and much less anxious than previous.

Bright blessings to all xx

Always glad to hear of mums relaxing into pregnancy.  For the pain now that you are past 12 weeks you should be able to self refer to the maternity physio.  They can give you exercises and sometimes manipulate the pelvis a bit to help with the pain.

If I have any more, I’m going to the osteopath who sorted me out post birth.  All my joints seem to go a bit awry during pregnancy.

Great news! I know I always recommend the same thing on here, but McTimoney Chiropractors are amazing during pregnancy - very gentle but extremely effective. I couldn’t walk from 20 weeks with my ds but had treatment when pg with dd2 and I had no pain at all until 41 weeks!

Love, Claire xxx

Glad to hear things are going well with your pregancy. Hope the siatica easies up soon. I suffered from it with my daughter, so totally sympathise,  i permanently had a hot water bottle with me as it really helped ease it. X

Thank you for all your responses. Theyre lovely to read. To the lady above who mentioned seeing a physiotherapist…I saw one with my last pregnancy as they told me I had SPD but I know it wasnt anything to do with the pelvic girdle. I had a fair few sessions and though it helped with hip pains it never helped with the sciatic nerve pain. I am going to ask for a referral again this time just to give it another try but if it doesnt help then I think Im going to try to see an osteopath as this is a problem for me even when Im not pregnant, pregnancy just seems to make it a whole lot worse! Im not managing much sleep and need about 3 cushions between my kness to even begin to feel remotely comfortable!!!

Pregnancy….such a joyous time!

No, it is a joyous time. I am so grateful to have another opportunity to grow a little bud within my womb, but I am fairly confident that this will be my last pregnancy.

Bright blessings xx
