wild garlic ideas

Have been down to the river today and picked a bag full of wild garlic.have made wild garlic pesto and wild garlic and kale soup but would welcome some other suggestions as theres still loads left and it will otherwise have to head to the compost heap,which seems a shame…....next time we wont be quite so enthusiastic with the picking!

You can freeze the pesto…  smile

I throw it in stew too.  I like it in a sweet potatoey barley stew best of all.

Oh, and Claire recommended a garlic butter with it that is really addictive, you might find it on her blog (http://mamauktalesfromwales.blogspot.co.uk/)...

We picked a few pocketfuls a couple of weeks ago and managed to eat it all in a couple of days (although my jacket still smells of garlic)!  I just put it in anything - scrambled egg, curry, pasta, whatever we were cooking.  It was too strong/spicy to eat as a salad leaf though.
