Flexitots or similar?

We were given a V1 flexitot, which I have been using for Jude at night as it seems to be really absorbent and feels dry to the touch, so she has less disturbed sleep. I thought i would use some of her birth money to buy a few more, but it has been replaced by the v2, and the reviews seem to suggest the v2 is not as absorbent. Does anyone have experience of both, or of the v2, or of the v1 and something similar? Any advice?

No experience, but if you want a previous model, Rose Glennding on Facebook (Nappy Bliss and New Forest Nappy Network) might be able to source the previous version for you.
