Does anyone know what I mean? I’ve seen knitted (cotton I think) little bonnets with a slight point at the front (like a widow’s peak not a baseball cap peak) but where can you buy them or what are they called so I can google them?

Just wanted to also recommend the pattern Aviatrix on Ravelry. smile really sweet.
Often they are called pilot hats.

I don’t know if this is what you mean but I knit pointed elf hats. I started knitting them last year and fell in love with them so much that I have already started taking orders for next winter!

I do them in all sizes right up to adult.
