Just wanted to bring this to people’s attention - apparently there is a alternative medicine “miracle cure” for autism being touted around, which is anything but - it is actually a chemical which, when mixed with citric acid as per the instructions, is actually an industrial bleach! Parents are being advised to feed it to their autistic children with a dropper, use it in baths or as an enema.

Just thought it was worth desceminating.

From the link you gave: ‘The product’s creator, Jim Humble, says that MMS has cured tens of thousands of people of malaria, and also cures “AIDS, hepatitis A,B and C, herpes, TB, most cancer, and many more of mankind’s worse diseases.”’

Says it all really.  I’m not sure if ‘cure’ is the correct word, but swallowing industrial bleach has the potential to stop the symptoms of many diseases!

Do you think anybody has actually tried using this?

Hope not, but thought it was worth getting the word out in case anyone tried it without knowing what it actually was. I know some people are really desperate :(

I noticed the food agency issued a warning in 2010, so sadly this has been around a while.  I am still stunned anyone could do this to a child.
