Ok, I have been given a stevia plant, and as per usual, have no idea what to do with it! Should I plant it out, or maybe leave it in the pot on a windowsill? And can I actually use it as a sweetener, and if so, how?

Wow! sounds wonderful! What a lovely pressie!

Sorry I can’t help with your questions really, but was just wondering what it looks like and how big it is?
Lots of the vegan recipes I have come across use stevia. It’s supposed to be very sweet I believe.

(Puts me in mind that I really must grow that ginger plant I keep promising myself!)

You can plant them out and treat them like a bay leaf tree or just repot it as it grow.To make a sweetener just pick the young leaves dry them out and blend them like coffee bean, put them in an airtight container and they should last for about a year just make sure it’s fully dried out otherwise it’ll go mouldy. hope this helps xx P.S there’s stuff on youtube about it xx wink
