Hello Mamas,

Quite a few of us have had new babies recently and I thought it would be nice to hear a little update from us all. I don’t get a chance to come on here that much at the moment but it would be nice to hear how you’re all getting on.

I’ll start .....Baby Ella is 12 weeks old now. Gone so fast! She’s not a newborn anymore which makes me a little sad but I know there is so much to look forward to! Ella is rolling onto her side lots and enjoys being on her tummy and can wriggle quite a distance! She is gurgling and babbling and lots of beautiful smiles. Her brother loves her and every morning he gets into our bed to cuddle her. Sleeping has been a bit all over the place - some times only waking once and sometimes 3 times - but last night she had a feed at 11 then slept through til 5 Breastfeeding is going well now - had quite a few blocked ducts and a bit of mastitis in early weeks but seems all ok now. I’ve got to grips with my Kari Me sling and we’re both enjoying using it. Love seeing my DH with a tiny baby again he is so sweet with her and brilliant at rocking her to sleep in her bouncy chair! I’m looking forward to enjoying the summer with my lovely family xxx

Not really a ‘new’ baby, per se, but Pixie is 10 months on Monday! She’s currently teething, but other than that is a very joyful child! Joyful really is the best word to describe her, maybe that or ‘sunny’! She is on the very cusp of crawling; we’ve been wating for das for it to happen! She’s very loving and simply adores her big brother.

Looking forward to hearing about everyone else!

Have I got the newest new baby? Bessie Jane is 4 (count ‘em) days old. Landed in my hands at home and life goes on….

My milk came in last night, so she’s mainly been feeding herself until she comes over all stoned on the abundance and then falls back to sleep. Love this stage and every stage to come

Welcome, Bessie! What a sweet name! Enjoying all the updates x

Mine is also not so little any more! Summer is 10 months, zooming around crawling everywhere, cruising around the furniture, climbing steps, standing alone and nearly walking. She has 2 teeth, more coming imminently, and is rather an erratic feeder and sleeper though she loves her breastmilk and scoffs solids avidly - she’s a terrible scavenger and nicks any food off anyone! Very determined but happy little lady!

Jude is 6 months already! She has a very different temperament to her sister - very placid, but very sensitive to mood; she gets terribly upset if some cries or shouts. She sits alone, commando crawls (and nearly goes forward!) and is pretty inquisitive. She feels much more “baby” like than Grace ever did - she is still just in babygrows - I haven’t even put her in Grace’s dungarees - and the trousers I bought from someone here, thinking that by x months she will definitely be in “real” clothes, have shamefully sat in a box :( .

She chatters away - like to have a good old rant! We haven’t started solids yet, as she just doesn’t seem that interested, but she seems to be growing well without!
