Ds1is coming to the end of his time at middle school, and for a reward trip to celebrate their time at school they are taking the whole year to a theme park. However, DS1 really does not like theme parks, and was very reluctant to hand in his money to go. The head master, whilst writing ds1’s report realised that such a trip would probably not appeal to him, and probably a few others in the the year, and is now booking tickets to take a handful of them down to London to see the proms. Ds1 is obviously over the moon. It is above and beyond the call of duty for the headmaster to do this, but wonderful at the same time.
Really heartening that in a school of over 700 pupils that they can know them so well, and cater to them too.
