Hi there!

Has anyone tried merino wool pijamas for their children?

My 5 yr old is quite hot at nite generally but has loads of eczema so I’m trying organic wool/silk blend, but nnot sure if to go for the lightweight or the ones that look more “woolly” so to speak. We are travelling to winter in the southern hemisphere so it will be really cold at nite.

Any suggestions? Ideas? Experiences?

Thank you! xx

We noticed a big difference in DD3 when she wore organic cotton underclothes and long pjs.  We never tried wool though, largely because being warm made her incredibly itchy and grumpy - we even stopped using her wool longies as they made her feel too hot.  So I’d probably go for the light ones.  But honestly it’s hard to say because they are all so different, and eczema is different from person to person too.

Rowan was a baby who kicked off bedding every night and always felt hot.  The next oldest was always freezing and turned blue in cold weather!
