I have been using Lavera childrens toothgel which was glycerine free then recently i stocked up on 4 tubes online and have been using it when i just decided to read the ingredients the other day and it has glycerin in it!!! i am really cross but wondered if anyone else has found a child friendly glycerine free toothpaste/gel? i just cant seem to find any others, also does anyone else use this lavera one and can you check your tube too? (it does say improved formula on the tube)

Both the ones we have - ankle biters and green people - contain glycerine (i avoid sls, triclosan and fluoride, which is hard enough, esp. as DD is fussy about the taste too!)
Have you looked at jack n Jill?

yes ive checked that one but still has it - thanks though smile

Gem. We dont use Glycerin toothpaste as it coats the teeth which prevents the teeth from re-mineralising.

Sorbitol, aqua, hydrated silica, beta vulgaris, xanthan gum, Maris sal, calendula officinalis, Melissa officinalis, capsicum frutescens, bixa orellana, Flavour (aroma)

This is lavera basis sensitiv tooth gel - strawberry/raspberry. It doesn’t say improved formula on it and we’ve had it for a while, as ds only uses a tiny spot.
Funnily enough, I only learned about glycerin in toothpastes today. Had been watching a Sally Fallon video on YouTube when one about re-mineralisation came up after it. Essential oils blends containing neem oil were suggested, but no actual brands were recommended.
