I’ve just joined Ravelry and downloaded a lovely knitting pattern for a cardigan to knit for my daughter.

I’ve been knitting on and off (more off than on) since I was very young but I never have the patience to do it for long.  So I’ve bought some super chunky wool and an easy pattern in the hope I can get it knitted before I lose interest.

So, let’s see how it goes, if I actually finish it I’ll post a pic for your comments.

I’m thecrunchyfaery on Ravelry smile I go through phases, I’ve been out of my knitting phase for a couple of months but I’m getting back into it now. Maybe it’s seasonal, I never feel right knitting in the summer, it’s a cold weather, side of the fire kind of thing.

I am BarefootCrofter smile. I came back to knitting and crochet later on too. Just starting to feel like sitting at the fireside with some yarn again - Summer is too busy, so I am looking forward to some quite hooky time now xx

Good luck, would love to see what you knit too. I’m Dawnswoollyworld on there - have way too many things in my favourites (and should really sift through it one day/week!), and not enough projects loaded as I never seem to find the time and then forget about it after a while (working in that one though).

Have fun, I have a few WIP’s started now or in the planning and enjoying evening knitting this Autumn already.

Well my knitting is now on hold as I was using some cheapy plastic needles from the charity shop and my sons friend just managed to snap one in half. So until I can get back to the charity shop to buy some more i’ll have to do some sewing instead.

Oh well never mind

Aw what a nuisance.  One of my kids once stood on my tiny 3m wooden crochet hook (VERY expensive) and snapped it - at least I wasn’t in the middle of something!
