“Hello, this is Radio 4. The news today: the world is ending, and most of us are going to die in a variety of hideous and extremely painful ways. Later on in the programme, we discuss how this will affect the already falling W.I membership numbers. But right now, it’s time for “The Archers”

I have three…......

Must admit I've never really looked for a llarger- have 2 wee 1 poo. Poo only different in that it has a net bag to reduce handling when emptying and I wasn't buying 6 net bags (1 in bucket 1in wash principle)

My nappy bucket used to hold ice-cream flavouring so it huge and has a tight seal - I got it from one of the nappy sellers although I dont know if they're still around and I cant remember their name.  Was it cuddlebabes or something like that?

I have a huge tupperware type container that fits just over 10 nappies (so airtight) that has a handle and an indent on the bottom so you can tip it easily.
Because it was see through plastic I covered it with sticky back plastic to match the room.

They were also very cheap - about 2.50 each from the rangeand I have 2, 1 upstiars and 1 downstairs.

I looked for ages as I couldn't find a nappy bin with a lid that stays on, dh is disabled and so was worried about sending nappies flying across the floor - not a nice thought.

Good luck this was the last thing I bought and the most difficult to find, sounds stupid but…

Hi, My mum got our nappy buckets for us from a local bakery. They used to hold flavouring etc. They have really tight fitting lids. I use 1 for storing used nappies and the other as a rinsing bucket for poo-y nappies. They were a bargain at 70p for both!!! It's amazing what you can pick up sometimes! :D

i think that the people who make /sell nappy buckets should make large ones that actually hold a load of nappies. I use tots and found those buckets held just a days worth when my machine can hold 3 days worth. I used to have a big bucket from thr range but it got lost in a move and now i am having nappy bucket issues cant find the right one with a lid that can be held shut.
