Never mind balls, you'd need a whole sheep for my feet!!   ::)

How about if the person who was hankering after socks (can't think who that could be .....ahem), could provide their own wool?  I was wondering how the pricing thing would work too.

Feathers - shells would be brilliant for craft projects.   wink

That would be great!!  I haven't a clue also how many balls/sheep you'd need.  Size 10 feet I'm afraid!! So how would this LETS scheme work, how do I 'pay' you (apart from the cost of the wool) for your time and labour?  This is the part of this scheme that I still don't totally understand.

Two more children came down with chicken pox this afternoon by the way!!  Only Minnie left now ...........gulp!!   :'(

oh Wodge, poor you  :-* and poor little Wodges  :-* ... you know anything I can do .. please shout.

OK our currency - Greenies.
So my take on this is that we need to start pricing our wares .... in Greenies,   our version of £££s.
So if I sell something for 10 Greenies, thats credited to my account and then I can go spend them with someone else.
Is that right ?
Am thinking we need a whole new section for this Letts stuff .. what does everyone think ?

How does the person who actually receives the item that cost 10 greenies pay you then?  For example, if I saw such and such a person had books for G10 (10 greenies), would I have to have something worth G10 that she wanted in exchange for me to be able to 'buy' this item?  That's the bit that is baffling me.  I could be being very thick here, so bear with me, not the brightest button on the cardie at this hour (or any other!)   ::)

Poor little wodges.
(hugs)

Right, I'll try explaining transactions:
I want to 'buy' a pair of Mama4s socks.
I will agree a price with her.
When thats done I email (myself, so in this case, doesn't apply) and state the who to (member number), who from (member number)  and how much, and what for.
Example:
Mama4 (Mem 3)
Tam/Earthmummie (Mem 1)
4 Greenies
Handmade socks

that then goes on a database, which will keep me informed with whos trading what and how many greenies everyone has. Everyone starts with 10 greenies so no-one need worry about going into commitment straight away!

I find it a great idea too, you have so many good ideas ladies! And skills I haven't..
I don't know if there's anything I could offer.
Maybe lending books and I saw wodgehog is after baby's footless all in one, I have one.
And ho, help with French? Translations?

I don't really understand how everyone will get something either??
And why we have to be called mem 1, mem 2 etc. What does mem mean?
Maybe it's because it's veeery late, it doesn't make sense?
Anyway, interesting  smile
