Hey Laura,

don't really understand how everyone will get something either??
Although you don't exchange something with the person your trading with, they get 'paid' greenies, which means just like the real economy they can buy whatever they like. So they'll spend it with another member.

And why we have to be called mem 1, mem 2 etc. What does mem mean?

Member number. Everyones got one as it makes keeping track of trading easier, as I'll fill in the spreadsheet based on membership numbers (order you signed up onthis post)

That explains it better, i understand it now although can you clarify does the seller (offerer)
pay for postage and claim it back in greenies or does the reciever pay for postage and only the cost of the item be paid for in greenies, does that q make sense?

Sarah - mem 15

Offers:
Slings (might need something towards fabric depending on type), bags and assorted other crafts lol (ask and I'll tell you if I can make it).
Small cloth dolls, cocoon babies, baby knot dolls.
Patchwork baby blankets.
Mobiles and hanging charms (assorted materials lol).
Jewellery, mostly glass (again might need something towards materials depending on what you want).
Patterns and childcare books on loan (is that allowed, I make a good library)?
Fabric of all sorts and sizes from time to time.

Wants:
Knitted things!
Felt or knitted playfood.

I can think of far more things that I would do for others than that we actually need, but I could go for practically everything you all make and do at one time or another.  smile  You're a tallented bunch!

Ketty - the seller would find out the postage, and then ask the buyer would pay it back via pp or chq/po. this'd be done in cash, not greenies, unless the seller asked for greenies specifically.

Is one greenie the equivalent of £1 in value? I was wondering about this a bit.

How about " ecos " for our currency ?

Postage - I think it's really down to you and the person your dealing with - I have just agreed a "sock deal" with EM and included the postage in the deal, in our currency, postage will be cheap, recycled envelope etc but thats personal choice, another time I might ask for postage in cash.

Yes I think, 1 - whatever our currency is going to be called = 1 pound.
