I run an online business selling natural & organic care products.  I want to put together a hospital pack using the products that I already sell and maybe some new products.

I was just after some ideas from other mums on what you would like to see in the pack if you were purchasing it for yourself.

Thanks smile

breast pads, maternity pads, lovely things for shower (for mum not bub), babygrow & vest, chocolate, nice tea-bags.
basically things I know I'd definitely use, not useless bits of faff that are just there to fill up the basket (eg a face flannel),  ;D

Cake!!

Sorry, this is obviously not at all helpful, but bearing in mind all I got after a 17 hour labour was a slice of toast and then nothing till I was discharged 7 hours later, I think a large slab of Genoa cake is a must!!

Seriously, I think pads, tissues, I actually used a face cloth as DH was very good and kept my forehead cool with it, so i would use that.  What about a compilation CD of beautiful and soothing classical music?  I think someone ought to make maternity pads that are really going to work.  I always had to use two in my pants and STILL leaked terribly.  I don't know what products you make, but basically a nappy idea would be more practical .....................for me anyway!!   ::)

I would have definately used things mentioned like a flannel, flapjacks/dried fruit, teabags, hand cream, lip salve (esp. after gas/air), baby suit/vest, pads, toothbrush, toothpaste, breastpads, maternity pads, etc, etc.  Once I think about it I could go on and on.

I found great pads at mothercare (slim with two lots of sticky wings) that never leaked and would recommend them highly.
