Right, new year, new start and I've decided it's probably time to come back now, albeit with a new username.  I didn't want to just come back and pretend to be someone else as it would look a bit weird when someone realised that I had been around before with a different name.

I needed to go away from my normal on-line places a while ago as I became involved in some cyber bullying/stalking (as a victim not a perpetrator :() and just needed to make a clean beak and lick my wounds for a while.

So I'm sorry I left without a word and I'm also very sorry that I left in the middle of the winter craft swap.  I did intend to send my partner a gift anyway but lost her address when I closed my account, I did write it down first but lost that too. :-[, sorry.  But hey, I don't think I was missed as no-one with my e-mail address tried to contact me to see where/why I had gone, lol.

Anyway after a break I found I couldn't keep away from here and have kept gravitating back for a peek to see what was going on and have found that I've missed this site more than all the others I go on.  The person invovled doesn't seem to be around anymore so here's hoping it's OK to come back.

So I'm looking forward to getting back into posting and sharing thoughts/ideas with all the wonderful people on here.

;D

(p.s. I was Mum22 before  :D)

Did it not occur to you to contact Mama4 for your recipients address again?

Welcome back Willa  smile

It's out of order when people use forums and chat rooms to bully other people.  I suppose that some people think the anonimity (sorry if spelling is wrong, brain not working today) gives them the ability to hasle people.

Hello again!  I'm really sorry you were hassled by someone, I hope it has stopped now, but it's wrong that it made you feel you had to leave.  I can see why it would make you want to leave a forum if that was happening, I would feel the same way too.

Just wanted to say that I don't think anyone should have to appologise for leaving a forum.  We all have busy lives and reasons why sometimes keeping up-to-speed on a forum as busy as this one would be difficult and I wouldn't want to judge anyone for leaving or taking a lot of time away etc.  Surely that's the beauty of an online forum, that you can leave when you want and come back when you want, without the strings attatched like in 'real life' socialisation.  It's a different kettle of fish that you were bullied off though, that's just plain wrong and I wish there had been a way for you to have stopped that.

So no need to appologise from where I'm looking at things and maybe we need to think about how online bullying can be prevented in future.  Is it something that could/should have been reported to the moderator, rather than the victim suffering on their own?

It was a perfectly valid question - if you've lost some info that someone sent you why not ask them for it again?   ::)

Yes Luciej it was a perfectly valid question and in hindsight I should have attempted to contact Mama4.  It's just that you jumped straight in on the offensive without giving me a chance.

I did not expect to be welcomed back with open arms or to be welcomed back at all.  I just wanted to be honest with people and start with a clean slate.

I think I must have missed what ever furore or bullying started this off  ???  Or was it elsewhere?

Again, I can't see any problems or needs for apologies.  Welcome back.

Good to see you back Willa  smile- I wondered where you had gone.  Just a wee bit worried now about the stalking thing, as I think you may have left not long after I posted a comment on your blog  ???
