I'll make sure I watch the next viewing of this, it looks intereting.  Have just been looking at a few comments on the programme, they looked very positive too.   smile

I have to say that we are loving home edding our 3. We are talking about the Tudors at the moment and we are up to our necks in papermache, cardboard boxes and straw making a Tudor village. We also have trips planned at Hampton Court and the Mary Rose, it's just fantastic! I also got my Mum to watch the programme and she like willowwarrior commented on the fact that all the children seemed very happy.

Is that Christine's group, Gill?  We've been to a few of the things held up in Lincoln and it seems a very active and friendly group.  Just a bit far for us to travel vry often sadly (and Lincoln roads scare me).   :-[

Hi Wodgehog-
The groups called "Bluebells" and isn't exactly "run" by anyone!- not sure who origionally booked the venue (Friends meating house) but there are about 6 families who come along on a Tuesday morning- just came home from todays session- really friendly and helpfull (I'm still in the information/ ideas-gathering stage!) and always a load of different things for the lo's to do- let me know if you want to head up again- we go on the bus from North Hykeham- far easier rhan trying to drive in/ park

Ah, I remember hearing about that, a friend of mine said it was very nice.  Also, there is a pottery session on Steep Hill every Friday morning apparently.  Don't know who runs that either, but I have always loved the idea of doing pottery and the children love craft things.  When I'm not pregnant and my eyesight is better (it always goes very bad with pregnancy), I must venture up and take the children to all these things, they sound really good.

We have been invited along to the pottery session too but as I'm an hour away and I don't drive…..must check out the train timetable for that.
