Oh no!  Just realised that I have double booked for 19th!  Since not many people have replied yet, I was just wondering whether Thursday 20th would be any good for any of you?  If not, keep it the 19th and we will have to catch up in September.  That will teach me for moving my calendar to somewhere in the kitchen where I can’t see it at every available minute!!! LOL

I’m stuck at work on the Thursday but as it suits the majority then go for that day- hope the sun shines for you all; in September, a Wednesday would be great for me, thanks!

Hi- I can’t do Friday either, Emily is off to the hospital for an eye check-up and then my parents are arriving. i’m happy for you all to go on the Thursday as the majority can make it, and I’ll see you in September, thanks for trying to rearrange but I’m a busy thing at the moment!

We can’t do any of those days I am afraid so will see you all in September. Someone mentioned thinking of other possible venues .. for variety as much as anything else I think this is a good idea.

I am not sure how it works geographically for everyone as I must admit to not knowing where all of you come from properly red face but we have been to Elvaston Castle Country Park today and it is just lovely! So much to explore there, we didn’t even bother with the playground! It is south west of Derby and not far from the M1, so what do you think? Is it viable for you or am I way off LOL

Here is the map link

Oh, and as for September, how does Wednesday 16th grab you?

Hi everyone

So just to confirm, have I got it right that we are meeting this thursday coming which is 20th?  In the carpark at 10am?  Apart from Lou and Kate (and us of course!) who else can make it?

I’m afraid I can’t do 16th September or actually the week after that so will probably see anyone who can’t make next week in October :(

Another venue is fine by me.  I have been to Elvaston - I’m just worried that those who come in from Lincoln might find it a bit far - what do you think?  There is also Sherwood Pines around this area and the Major Oak (where Robin Hood is supposed to have hidden).  What about maybe somewhere like Sundown Adventureland (not free though).

Axxxxxxx

I am much closer to Elvaston but don’t really mind driving - open to suggestions but cheaper would be better xx

Thursday 20th is better for us- but a chance we might not make it - I’‘l try and say for definate the night before!

We have a home ed meet at Clumber on the 16th of September- so will have to give that one a miss- unless a diffrent date is suggested- I know a few people have said no to that date?

We are open to different venues and don’t mind doing the occasional paying one- as long as not too ruinous but I think it will be hard to find things central enough for everyone

Hi - I’m not sure we are going to make it either as DS was sick and not sure whether it is wise to bring him.  Probably not but will re-evaluate in the morning and post first thing. :(

Hi we’re back and I came on to say that I won’t be able to make it tomorrow as I haven’t got the car now. Is there anyone left still planning on going?

I think we won’t be there either- having spent six hours there today with other friends- I can’t face telling them we are going back tomorrow!
Do we wnat to sort another date in the next couple of weeks- or do we just want to miss this month??

As its nearly upon us when is good for people in Sept? Are we sticking to a Wed ? Elvaston Castle is good for me but is that quite far for others? Is lincoln the furthest? Woolaton Park is nice in Notts but again perhaps a bit of a way? Just a few questions to ponder! smile
