I can meet at Markeaton at 10 or 10.30, but where will you be meeting? I’ll have DD wrapped on my back in a Storch Anna if that helps…

I was planning on going on Wednesday- but can’t get there until about 11ish (2 swimming lessons at 9;30 and 10am). Will I be lonely?

Well i’m up for both. I can’t get to Rufford till about quarter past ten ( takes about an hour once i’m back from school) but will be there. I was thinking picnic? Are there any benches we could sit at?

Thursday , shall we say 10.30 ?  How about the main carpark , the bit at the top where the path starts? Making any sense? Food wise don’t mind, picnic or just a stroll will go with the majority.

Hi- we are planning to be there on Wednesday- as it looks like we’ll all be turning up at different times, shall we meet at the play area when you can get there after 10.00 rather then waiting in the carpark?- (depending on traffic we should be there at 10.00 if there are any new people coming allong). Ok little update- we won’t be there on tomorrow as dh (and all his office lol) have got swine flu so assuming my feeling rotten might be the start of something more I won’t take the risk of spreading it! Hope you all have a lovely time, I’ll be thinking of you

Im afraid -after seeing weather report for tomorrow (heavy set in rain) I am going to wimp out. If it were showers etc…..but doesn’t seem fair on my 14 month old as he would end up stuck in buggy.

Thanks to the Derby GPs for a lovely day yesterday at Markeaton. We really enjoyed ourselves - T fell asleep on my back as soon as I left and also went to bed very early last night, the girls really entertained (and fed) her well.

PPS. Charlotte - I made a green smoothie today AND I am making a veg soup with quinoa as I type!!

Hi Ladies. We had such a lovely time on Thursday last week. I have never seen DS play so well with other children and that meant a lot. His little outdoor loving self was so completely at home with fellow tree-climbing, puddle-splashing, leaf-kicking, duck-feeding, picnic-scoffing, fungi-poking, den-seeking peeps. Sarah - tell Martin that he even asks for ‘faster, faster’ on the roundabout now (tho not as faster as _that_ yet!). We must definitely do it again. Markeaton is a perfect venue too.

So glad you liked the ‘hattie’ as DS has named it. People either seem to love or hate it (I profered the suggestion of making some for a friend’s little ones for Christmas today and was not quite ready for the polite decline in response!!!).
