I was wondering if any Derby families would like a day in Allestree Woods? It’s wilder than Markeaton Park and there isn’t a playground but it’s a fantastic place for tree climbing, dens, fungi, squirrels etc etc. (It’s my local woods).

Sounds lovely! I do love those woods but get hopelessly lost so it would be really nice to go with others (and get lost together!)

I think I should start a new thread for this, and stop hijacking the Nottinghamshire thread, but would anyone like to go to the woods next week? I can’t make Thursday because Fantastic Mr Fox is on at QUAD. smile
Monday or Friday is best for me, but I could be persuaded to change my Tuesday and Wednesday plans around. Ok, am going to create a new thread now…

Hi-
Sorry for the late reply, just got back from France.
But, yes, the 16th is good for us too, Just to be all organised (not meaning to take over) shall we meet in the childrens play area we were at last time, from 10.30- easier than meeting in the carpark if anyone is running late/ busy in the morning?
It’ll be great to see you all again
