Sorry if it has already been done, am in a hurry! I run a local stay and play group and need some ideas for food for our Christmas party…the lady I co-run the group with isnt green minded at all, I really struggle with getting my choices into the childrens snacks so am dreading the party!

Reading this post is making me hungry!!!  What about sandwiches (boring I know but healthy) or jazz them up by doing them in wraps, cheese scones, sultana scones with fruit spread (Meridian do gorgeous organic ones), rice cakes, cherry tomatoes, grapes, squares of cheese

Will the adults be eating as well?

If so you could bulk it out with some home made quice and garlic bread.

I really do not like the whole sugar and e number infested Supermarket grub aimed at children, nasty!  On my website http://www.bishybarnybees.co.uk I am inviting people to send in their best tried and tested children's party food recipes.  I would REALLY appreciate any from forum members and would be delighted to hear from any of you about this, thanks!
