None of us had met before May last year and we have had new folks joining us both times so please don’t feel afraid to join us just because you feel like you won’t know anybody!
Lots of plans for the May bank holiday this year from climbing, zipwire, high ropes course, crafting time, walks in the woods, shared meals together and lots of time to chat and make new friends. Whether you consider yourself an adrenaline junkie or prefer to hide inside and knit then there will always be something going on for you to join in with.
PM me your E-MAIL ADDRESS please if you would like a booking form.
That sounds so wonderful! A bit of a cheeky question but money is *really* tight at the moment and whilst that is a fantastic price for a weekend I’m not sure I can justify the cost at the moment :( However, my MIL lives in Bream (which is so very close to Parkend) - would there be any possibility at all of being able to come but not actually staying there? I hope you don’t mind me asking…
Me DH and DD would really like to come but we would be travelling in by train from (probably would need to be) Manchester. I will check on train fares and then might book. x
lol just clicked on the link! they do clash doh! Oh i so so want to come, hmm need to think which will make more sense for us….. watch this space, but we will probably be there! had a great time last time!
We won’t be coming to this one as it is scarily close to my due date, especially if I go overdue, and I don’t fancy traveling with a very tiny littley Will have to catch up if there is a winter one.
Although it is a wonderful reason not to come we will miss everyone - enjoy the weekend
We go by train from Liverpool…takes 3-4 hours and last time for 2 adults it cost us £130 ish..our only problem has been carrying all our stuff!

Wow! that rules us out then! That’s out transport budget for a month, and we don’t have a holiday one.
Maybe next year x
If you book really early you should be able to get much cheaper tickets I’d have thought. But they have a limited number of cheap tickets so you do have to get lucky…...
did I read the meet up website right - it’s restircted to 10 familys this year?
We are very skint at the mo so can’t afford it right this minute and not sure how things are going to pan out when I get back to work, otherwise would have LOVED to come…..maybe next year
Approx 10 families - last year we had just short of 50 people but many of those were tiny babies. We have decided that much larger than 50 would get unwieldly and probably result in us ending up operating in two groups which would be a shame. The building has a natural capacity in terms of seating comfortably of about 50-60 folk. Depending on family size this could be as few as 10 families, thought it might be as many as 15 or more!
As far as I’m aware (Jen should be able to tell us more) there is still loads of space at the mo but I have sent out quite a few booking forms in the last week so this could change quite fast.
HTH, and it would be great to see you if you can make it.
