“In November 2014, my eldest son was two years old and I wanted to start my own business. I’d been a freelance makeup artist for many years and I was (and am) passionate about health and well being. My brand needed to be natural luxury skincare and Baie Botanique (baiebotanique.com) was launched.

SELF-CARE SECRETS

My favourite self care tip is to practise feeling gratitude. Life is so much better when we feel grateful for what we have and it has a positive effect on our emotional wellbeing.

With regards to more physical self care I love to use my rose quartz roller to get the blood flowing and my rose quartz eye mask to take a moment to relax.

I also love to stop for a moment and literally smell the roses, that’s a moment of self care for me when I can connect to my childhood and making rose petal perfume and connect with nature.

BUSINESS PLANS

We are planning on launching another product line and more products into our existing line an SPF has been in the pipeline for a few years now so once it meets all requirements we’ll be launching that.

THREE WAYS TO BE MORE SUSTAINABLE

CHANGE YOUR DIET For me the first and most obvious is to stop eating animal products and to eat as close to how our food grows and a diet with lots of seasonal produce.

DETOX YOUR HOME To make sure that your home is as healthy as possible there are many things we can do to detox our homes from using more natural cleaning products to reducing harmful electromagnetic frequencies.

THINK MINIMAL I think trying to live a more minimal and less wasteful lifestyle, up cycling and giving a new life to items choosing more thoughtfully and carefully on initial purchases is a good way to start.
