Delve into the curious world of Alice in Wonderland. Explore the different ways generations of illustrators, artists, musicians, filmmakers and designers over the past 150 years have been inspired by Lewis Carroll’s classic tale. The exhibition includes illustrations and drawings by Mervyn Peake, Ralph Steadman, Leonard Weisgard, Arthur Rackham, Peter Blake and Salvador Dali.
This weekend (the last as the exhibition closes on 2nd), there’s an invitation to have a cosy autumnal day at the Laing knitting a cosy for your teapot (cost £5 and all levels welcome). Organisers are particularly keen to encourage expert knitters to come along and share their expertise.
