Remember even when the ground is coated in snow there is life underneath as the bulbs begin to push toward the light. While there is always growth happening it is essential to their survival that they do not rush out too quickly or the frost may stop them before they’ve had the time they need in the sunlight.
The winter phase of the feminine energy cycle is governed by the crone, the wise woman of the woods who has seen it all before and can offer us profound insights. This dark time of winter outside us and winter within has given us time to reflect, rethink and grow. Now, as the light returns what knowledge do you bring with you? What insights into yourself, your habits and your family have you gained that can help you create something better?

In what areas of your life do you rush forward too quickly and sometimes get bitten by the frost? If you have to wait a moment longer, what do you feel might happen to your momentum, the response you’ll receive or even the amount of time you’ll have?
