This full moon week as the energies build, the mother archetype may be challenging. With Mother’s Day just passed, our relationship with our own mothers can bring up a lot, as can our own role as nurtures, whether that be of children or others. The expectations, the perceived and experienced judgements, the hurts. All of this can come into play during this phase of the cycle.
We do not need to unpack these feelings each month, but awareness can help us navigate a sensitive time for those sensations.
Turn the love of the archetype towards yourself, hold yourself gently, with compassion and understanding, and seek out moments of sunlight to soothe and heal yourself.
