Disney Nature have produced a pack on penguins - the activity pack has some good ideas around exploring the antarctic environment. There are richer resources in the Educator’s Pack - we loved the story stones project, depicting the penguin lifecycle through stone paintings. There are some greta maths resources too including measuring area and making 3D shapes.

Explore gender and family structure through the story of And Tango Makes Three - two male penguins who hatch a chick.

Penguin’s Big Adventure A great story about firsts and friendships with appealing simple illustrations.

Blanche and Rocky Brought out for our exploration of bears recently, this has made a reappearance because of it’s fun protagonist, Rocky the penguin.

Thought the Animal Kingdom A beautiful book, which explores different habitats around the world - there are a few pages about penguins.

Busy Penguins This fun book depicts penguins sliding, diving, drooping, and sharing.
